Digital records save time

Challenge
Luke’s dad has a great memory and kept all his farm records in his head or handwritten in a book. The book could only be in one place at a time, and could be found on the floor of the boomspray covered in dirt and losing pages. When Luke and his brother came home to farm they needed a better system to keep track of all the spraying information.
Solution
Yeringa Park Estate made the decision to use Agworld for digital record keeping after being introduced to the platform by their agronomist
Result
Saving time: Instead of having to drive 20 minutes to the other side of the farm or call someone on the radio to look through the book, Luke can check the plan for the day on his phone while having his morning coffee. When it came to tracking rotations, Luke would have to flip back through pages to figure out the last time a certain crop was in the paddock. Now all he has to do is pull up Agworld on his phone. Take the guessing out of chemical inventory levels: Usage from the chemical inventory is kept up to date in Shed by FarmReady as records are created in Agworld it deducts from inventory volumes. Stock on hand: This is tracked by Shed and displayed on the map in Agworld which allows Luke to see how much chemical is available across the farming enterprise. Engaging the entire team: Agworld provides visibility to all employees and family members that are involved in day-to-day operations and helps to unify their team
