Agworld's development team is always working hard to improve our platform even further, and this month we're excited to announce three important updates: downloadable PUR PDFs for California users, token-based authentication for Agworld's V2 API, and a new tag management system. Each of these improvements is designed to simplify your day-to-day and give you easy access to the data that drives your business.
PUR PDF Download for California Users
For years, California growers and advisors have trusted Agworld to digitally submit Pesticide Use Reports (PURs). Now, we're adding the ability to download and print county-formatted PDF copies of your submitted PURs, making compliance even more straightforward.
These PDFs include permit details, EPA registration numbers, field-level information, label comments, and PHI/REI data. Each activity generates one PUR per field to align with CalAg submission rules, and only the inputs actually submitted to the county appear in the final file.

With this update, audits and county correspondence are easier than ever. Whether you're preparing for an inspection, working with a third-party auditor, or simply archiving your records, you can now access standardized PUR documentation at the click of a button
Token-Based Authentication for Agworld's V2 API
Enterprise customers and developers integrating with Agworld will now benefit from API token authentication. Instead of implementing a full OAuth2 flow, you can generate secure tokens that work across all V2 API endpoints, making system connections faster and simpler.
Tokens can be named, tracked, and set to expire for temporary access. You'll also see when each token was last used, and only you can access your token at the moment of creation. Role-based access ensures that only authorized users can manage tokens, giving you full control over your organization's data connections.
With examples provided for Python, JavaScript, Golang, Ruby, and Java, this update is designed with developers in mind. Rate limiting ensures platform stability, while clear error messages make debugging straightforward
Smarter Tag Management
Finally, we're introducing new tools to manage Activity tags across your organization. Tags have long been a powerful way to classify inputs and activities, but until now, they were free form, which sometimes led to typos, duplicates, or outdated labels.

Company Admins can now choose the level of control that works best for their team:
- Open Tagging: Anyone can add new tags.
- Suggested Tags: A curated list appears by default, but new tags can still be added.
- Restricted Tags: Only a set list of approved tags can be used.

This flexibility allows organizations to balance data freedom with the need for consistency. By reducing tag errors, reporting becomes cleaner, integrations run smoother, and your team saves time. Tag management is available on web and mobile for growers on Enterprise subscriptions and agronomy/retailer companies with Company Admins on Agronomist Pro.
